Things You Should Know About Florida

Florida has more fairways than some other state

It’s actual. The landmass is home to more than 1,300 green fairways with famous objections everywhere on the state (… possibly that is one explanation Donald Trump loves it here). There’s even the World Golf Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Augustine, Florida.

Miami introduced the principal ATM machine for rollerbladers

Miami Beach’s winding walkways are a well known spot for rollerblading, so it’s nothing unexpected that in 1996, Citibank on Washington Avenue introduced the initial coast through ATM path for rollerbladers. Since, why not?

Florida has one of two round freshwater lakes on the planet

Situated in DeFuniak Springs, the Lake Defuniak is principally spring taken care of, round and covers 40 sections of land of water.

Key West has the most smoking climate in the USA

Plan your vacation excursion here. Winter or summer, Key West flaunts the most sweltering normal temperatures throughout the year-around.

Florida isn’t the southernmost state in the USA, it’s Hawaii

Look once more. Florida might be the southernmost state in the mainland USA, however topographically, Hawaii is the southernmost. (Check your guides!)

Biggest Mangrove Forest in the nation is in Florida

South Florida is home to damp marshlands and mangroves that stretch for a great many miles. Visit the Everglades National Park for a gander at these wild things.

Florida WAS home to perhaps the biggest tree on the planet

Until an incendiary torched it in 2012, Florida was home to probably the biggest tree on the planet. “The Senator” was the greatest and most seasoned bare cypress tree estimating 125 feet high and 3,500 years of age. Tear, world record breaker.
